Senior Case Manager

The Kinship Care First Supports Program supports children in statutory kinship care placements where child protection services are involved, and the placement is expected to last more than 3 months.
The program aims to identify kinship networks early, strengthen family reunification where possible, promote placement stability and prevent children from being placed in residential care unnecessarily.
As a case manager, you will undertake comprehensive assessments and provide recommendations to child protection about the suitability of kinship care placements. The role will support children to settle within the placement and support kinship carers to respond to the child's safety, stability and developmental needs.
