Responsibilities- We deliver high-quality care to support children and young people in foster care. Our program is designed to help children heal from trauma and thrive. We are committed to a collaborative, inclusive approach where our carers play a crucial role in the care team.
- As a Therapeutic Case Manager, Foster Care, you will play an important role in supporting children and young people in foster care, including facilitating transitions, coordinating caregiver matches, and ensuring best-practice care.
- You will work closely with foster carers, families, and a network of professionals, ensuring that each child receives the specialised care they need to overcome their past experiences and achieve their full potential.
- Salary: SCHADS Level 5 + super
- Part Time (4 days a week) ongoing position

- Post-secondary qualifications in Welfare, Social Work, Child Development or relevant qualification (if Diploma level, willing to study further)
- Current Victorian drivers licence
- Current CPR and First Aid certificate
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe environments for children and young people and protect them from abuse and neglect
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding the out-of-home care system and the available resources and services in Gippsland
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with adults, adolescents, children and sector representatives
