Operational Training Specialist - Key Roles and Responsibilities

Contribute to improved organisational performance through the analysis, design, development, and delivery of operational training programs. The role is responsible for responding to the learning needs of diverse teams, as well as developing, updating, and delivering programs to meet these needs.

Key Team Dynamics

The Operational Training Team consists of professionals who collaborate effectively to design, review, and deliver operational training programs tailored to specific jurisdictions.

The team attends regular face-to-face meetings and works from various locations across NSW with the flexibility to work from home when not required at a specific location.

Team members are responsible for contributing to the development of operational training plans and strategies in line with business objectives.

Core Activities
  • Deliver operational training programs via virtual and face-to-face methods.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of operational training programs.
  • Contribute to the development of operational training plans and strategies.
  • Support the ongoing development of competencies and capability frameworks.
  • Provide consultancy services on operational training.
Required Competencies
  • Training/adult education experience.
  • Operational experience within government agencies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to any location in New South Wales.

Work Arrangements

Hybrid working arrangements with full-time employment available (35 HPW). Job share and part-time considered.
