Strategic Planning Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a skilled Senior Strategic Planner to join our high-performing team.

This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead assessments of major development proposals, planning schemes, and state significant development applications
  • Contribute to and update planning policies and design guidelines
  • Review and refine our organization's planning framework
  • Prepare reports and provide expert advice to stakeholders, coordinating input from specialist consultants
Requirements:
  • Degree in Urban/Town Planning or related field
  • Experience in preparing and negotiating planning agreements
  • Experience in Town Planning, specifically assessing planning proposals
  • Experience in preparation of development control plans
  • Competent in preparing and presenting strategic plans to stakeholders, taking meeting minutes, and other administrative tasks expected from the role

The ideal candidate will possess strong collaboration and motivation skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Our team prioritizes assisting each other to grow and develop personally and professionally.

This is a flexible opportunity with a 35-hour workweek and remote work arrangement. The initial contract duration is 12 months, with potential for extension.
