About the Role

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Consultant to join our team working on a large-scale public infrastructure project in Armadale, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and promoting excellence in project environmental matters, delivery of environmental programs and initiatives on the project. You will provide advice to supervisors, project management teams, employees, and other project stakeholders.

About You

  • You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science along with an intermediate level of experience, having worked on major construction projects in Australia.
  • You will also be required to demonstrate basic environmental risk management capabilities within a major infrastructure project environment. You will need to stay up-to-date with environmental legislation, compliance, and reporting requirements and assist in identifying significant factors affecting the project design.
  • You will have an exceptional energy and drive to grow yourself and the company you work for, radiating a passion and determination to succeed. The estimated salary for this role is around $90,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
