The role of Senior Acoustic Consultant is a key position within our Air and Noise Service Line, operating under the umbrella of the Environmental Assessments and Approvals team. This team has maintained strong growth in recent years and is currently one of the largest groups in WA, being a leader in air and noise impact assessment and approvals, terrestrial ecology, and marine services.

This diverse team contributes to a wide variety of projects, with a strategic focus on renewable energy (windfarms, battery storage facilities, critical minerals, and Defence at a regional, national, and global scale. We also work hand in hand with the architecture team and the planning team.

As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will be involved in driving acoustic and vibration-related project deliverables across all business sectors. Your tasks will include undertaking technical tasks independently, including modeling, measurement, and monitoring, impact assessment, and engineering design for environmental noise and vibration, underwater acoustics, industrial and transport noise and vibration, wind farm noise, as well as building and architectural acoustics.

You will also be responsible for project management of all project stages, including internal and external client liaison, project input data management, deliverable timelines and budgets, as well as quality control and technical review process. Additionally, you will mentor and support junior team members in a learning and collaborative environment.

Your experience should include over 5 years' work experience in a similar consulting role, along with a tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science, or other suitably appropriate discipline. You will also need a valid driving license and a desire to take part in field work, including trips to remote WA.

We offer a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and a hybrid work arrangement that supports well-being, flexibility, and productivity.
