This is a hands-on role where you will lead project development, identify new opportunities, and manage everything from site selection to approvals and stakeholder engagement. You'll also play a key part in mentoring junior team members and building capability across the business.

Your New Role
  • Lead complex renewable energy projects through the full development lifecycle - from origination to Final Investment Decision.
  • IDentify and secure new project opportunities, including land and approvals, to drive growth and expansion.
  • Manage due diligence, planning, and environmental assessments in NSW and QLD, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Collaborate with grid specialists, AEMO, and NSPs on connection feasibility and applications, leveraging expertise for successful outcomes.
  • Oversight stakeholder engagement and community consultation, fostering strong relationships and addressing concerns effectively.
  • Support investment decisions with thorough feasibility studies and risk assessments, providing data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
Your Qualifications
  • Possess 7+ years of experience in renewable energy or related project development, with a deep understanding of industry trends and challenges.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of environmental planning and regulatory approvals in NSW/QLD, applying expertise to navigate complex processes.
  • Proven track record of managing land agreements, feasibility, and due diligence processes, ensuring efficient project execution.
  • Familiarity with NEM and grid connection pathways, leveraging this expertise to optimize project outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills, fostering collaboration and driving results-oriented solutions.
