Early Childhood Leader Position

Our Early Learning Centre in Melbourne seeks a passionate and experienced leader to join our team.

As an Early Childhood Director, you will lead a supportive team of educators and work closely with the Assistant Director, Educational Leader, and Curriculum Leader to enhance the learning program and uphold the centre's strong reputation for quality practice.

  • Lead and support a high-performing team culture, mentoring educators and staff to cultivate a collaborative and positive environment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, overseeing daily centre operations
  • Develop and evaluate engaging educational programs that promote each child's development and wellbeing
  • Build strong partnerships with children, families, team members, and the community
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of educators and support staff
  • Manage daily centre operations, including enrolments and budgeting
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of educational programs
  • Ensure centre compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Diploma, Graduate Diploma, or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
  • In-depth knowledge of EYLF and NQS
  • Strong understanding of compliance, regulations, and Child Safe Standards applicable to Victorian early childhood services
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
