The role of Education Director involves spearheading a culture of quality education, student and staff growth, and academic excellence at an educational institution.
Main Responsibilities:- Demonstrate excellent teaching practices while developing the capabilities of learners through evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.
- Support the vision of the institution as a learning community and be involved in professional development and ongoing learning.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Teaching Team and relevant staff to ensure the development and implementation of a comprehensive learning and teaching program.
- Relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in specialist teaching areas.
- A commitment to upholding the values and mission of the institution.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- An ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement.
- A focus on pastoral wellbeing and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students.
- Current registration with the relevant teaching authority.
