Job Opportunity: Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineering professional to lead our team of engineers in delivering high-quality outputs, developing staff, and promoting welfare.

  • Strategic Policy Development: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic engineering policies, standards, and documentation that align with our organisational goals.
  • Team Management: They will lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure the effective construction, maintenance, and repair of AtoN structures and systems.
  • Project Planning: This role involves managing project planning, budgeting, and risk-based prioritisation for AtoN works, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Technical Expertise: The candidate will provide expert engineering advice to support project delivery, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, environmental standards, and WHS legislation.
  • Asset Maintenance: They will analyse asset condition and performance data to inform maintenance strategies, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources.

About You

  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams of engineers to deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Strong technical expertise in engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to develop and implement strategic engineering policies, standards, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
