Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering expert technical support and oversight across the construction, maintenance, and repair of AtoN structures and systems.

This role involves ensuring robust engineering governance, optimizing asset performance, and supporting the effective scheduling and delivery of project programs.

You will lead and manage the AtoN engineering team, ensuring high-quality outputs, staff development, and welfare. You will also develop and implement strategic engineering policies, standards, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing the AtoN engineering team
  • Developing and implementing strategic engineering policies, standards, and documentation
  • Overseeing technical assessments, reports, and specifications related to AtoN infrastructure
  • Managing project planning, budgeting, and risk-based prioritization for AtoN works
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • At least 5 years' experience leading technical functions
  • Chartered Engineer status or the ability to obtain Australian professional accreditation
  • Strong knowledge of engineering governance, design processes, and technical operations
