Job Description

At Roy Morgan Research, we are seeking a qualified Field Research Officer to join our team. As a Field Research Officer, you will be responsible for conducting professional and accurate data collection in the field, including interviewing and observing respondents. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys and interviews with respondents in a professional and accurate manner;
  • Obtain informed consent from respondents and ensure their rights are respected;
  • Collect and record data in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date;
  • Work independently and manage your own workload;
  • Engage with people from all walks of life and be able to enjoy the flexibility of working in the field.

Requirements:

  • Market research interviewing experience or equivalent interviewing/customer engagement experience;
  • Professionalism, high level of integrity, and mature social skills;
  • Able to work 20+ hours per week including weekdays and weekends;
  • Hold a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle;
  • Hold a National Police Check or willingness to obtain;
  • Fluent English language proficiency (spoken and written English);
  • Legal right to work in Australia.

What We Offer:

  • $34.19 per hour;
  • 0.95 per kilometre for use of your own vehicle (where applicable);
  • Reimbursement for job-related expenses and application fees for required checks.
