Senior Project Manager Role

This is a senior-level project management position responsible for leading global sourcing projects and strategy development for product cost savings, re-sourcing, and product launches.

  • Lead cross-functional, global teams in the implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external providers, and key suppliers to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Creation and maintenance of sourcing project plans, including budgeting, resource allocation, and project timelines.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Perform financial analysis, including cost modeling, return on investment (ROI) assessments, and supply chain cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Analyze and resolve complex supply chain issues and disputes in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Math or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in sourcing and supply chain, with 3+ years in global sourcing for medical devices.
  • Strong track record of achieving significant cost savings results and influencing individuals internally/externally.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight stays.
