Legislative Services Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Legal Officer to provide expert advice and support to the Attorney-General and Chief Executive on legal policy, law reform and implementation of the legislative program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and passage of legislation, focusing on administration of justice and criminal law;
  • Drive legislative projects through parliamentary procedures and Cabinet processes;
  • Deliver written and verbal advice to Ministers of the Crown and senior management on Bills and law reform proposals;
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to achieve outcomes in Legislative Services.
