The ProjectThe Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations.
Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance will offer the people of Adelaide an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project, career stability and the opportunity for career progression and development.The roleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor to join our Team.
This position will assist in supporting the Work, Health and Safety function under general supervision and implement safety practices, systems and procedures.
The position will report to the Safety Manager.Providing support, coordination and advice of health and safety practices, systems and procedures including coaching and support to stakeholders across the sitesProviding technical input to delivery, ensuring that legal and contractual obligations / risks are identified, controlled and communicated appropriatelyMaintaining and implementing the Project's WHS policy, management plans, systems and proceduresAssist with engagement with client representatives, subcontractors and other stakeholdersConducting inductions, toolbox talks, and deliver training sessionsConducting regular site inspections, reviews, and audits to scheduleAssist in incident reporting and investigationAbout youDiploma Safety in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalentIdeally 5+ years' experience in a similar role within Health and Safety teams, preferably on large Civil Construction, Mining or Infrastructure ProjectsAbility to interpret project related documents, preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentationAbility to build relationships and rapport with people at all levelsStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of risk assessment and monitoring of risk controlsStrong investigative and auditing skills.We offerYour success is reflected in ours, and as an Alliance we are committed to being an employer of choice here in Adelaide.We want you to be with us for the long-term, so providing you with rich career experiences and ongoing development is our priority.Career progression underpinned by the longevity of T2D means you'll have the opportunity to work on an iconic project that is shaping the city of AdelaideLearning and development opportunities where you'll have access to a range of opportunities, within the alliance and over the lifetime of the project to broaden your experience by undertaking 'on the job' and technical training experiencesInclusion and diversity is a part of how we work within the Alliance.
