This in-house role is ideal for a corporate lawyer with a strong commercial foundation, looking to step into a broader business-facing position within a listed environment.
The Opportunity This position offers a rare mix of corporate legal exposure and hands-on commercial advisory.
Reporting directly to the Australian Chief Legal Officer, you'll provide legal support across core operations and head office functions, while contributing to governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
This is a high-impact role within a lean, collegiate legal team, suited to someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and visibility with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Provide legal support across commercial contracts, tenders, projects and day-to-day operational matters Advise on corporate and governance matters including ASX compliance, continuous disclosure obligations and board reporting Support the coordination of equity incentive plans and liaise with external share registry providers Contribute to legal training and compliance programs, including privacy, policy development and internal education Collaborate with senior executives and general managers to align legal input with business strategy and risk appetite Offer pragmatic, responsive legal advice across a fast-paced and evolving business landscape About You8–12 years' post-admission experience in corporate or commercial law Strong foundation in company law, governance and ASX compliance In-house legal experience is preferred, or demonstrated desire to move from private practice into a commercially embedded role Comfortable managing a broad remit and partnering directly with non-legal stakeholders Practical, down-to-earth, and resilient, with strong communication and prioritisation skills Flexible and willing to grow with the evolving demands of the business For a confidential discussion please contact Silvana Pardo, TRANSEARCH Australia on 0431 368 691.
