The Role

We're seeking an experienced Logistics Manager or Inbound Operations Supervisor to lead our inbound team at our state-of-the-art Fulfilment Centre in Marsden Park. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless delivery, receipt, processing, and put-away of goods within agreed timelines.

Your primary focus will be on managing supplier deliveries, identifying and resolving issues, and maintaining excellent communication with various departments. You'll also oversee the Returns process, ensuring all customer returns are handled efficiently and effectively.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to drive improvements, contribute to business growth, and develop your skills in leadership, problem-solving, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor daily tasks and duties assigned to the inbound team.
  • Develop and implement effective processes to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
  • Liaise with suppliers, buyers, and other departments to resolve any issues related to supplier non-conformances, shortages, or overages.
  • Coordinate transfers and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Lead the Returns process, ensuring efficient handling and processing of customer returns.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A passion for logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, preferably in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • A strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
