The Role:

The Regional Lead Logistics Solution Engineer plays a crucial role in working closely with pursuit leaders to diagnose customers' supply chain needs and design innovative solutions that set us apart from the competition while driving clear value for both our clients and Maersk, resulting in industry-leading win-rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive solution strategies from conception to implementation, providing pre-sales support to map supply chain flows and identify potential solutions and customer value.
  • Identify strategic scenarios and drive alignment on the most compelling strategy that positions Maersk to win.
  • Provide input towards and secure sign-off and support for all pursuits through relevant OMEB stage gates and functions.

Solution Design and Costing:

  • Design detailed solutions incorporating scope of services, operating model, resource models, operating cost estimates, recommended selling price, estimated client value, and draft P&L for Maersk.
  • In collaboration with the implementation team, define likely implementation strategies, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Capture and share knowledge/best practices throughout the organization to support short- and long-term success.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strategic analytical and modelling capability, ability to translate complex requirements into tangible solutions.
  • Extensive Supply Chain and logistics network knowledge, Digital/IT understanding.
  • Well-developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong understanding of commercial solution sales process and consultative sales techniques.

About the Opportunity:

This position offers a salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
