About the Position:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex financial lines claims, including Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, Cyber, Employment Practices liability and Statutory Liability claims.
  • Act as client advocate and trusted consultant, advising on notifications of circumstances and claims.
  • Proactively ensure smooth coordination of claims with insurers.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of claims, including policy coverage analysis and advice.
  • Assess legal exposure and quantum, liaising with defence counsel and insurers on strategy and defence of the claim.
  • Coordinate and drive pragmatic resolution of claims.
  • Implement and manage claims protocols and reporting procedures.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in financial lines insurance claims, litigation, and insurance law.
  • Bachelor's degree in law preferred.
  • Skilled in policy coverage analysis and strong technical advocacy skills.
