Logistics Analyst Position

This job opportunity is for a skilled Logistics Analyst to work on a Materiel Logistics Function project in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and remediating Problematic Items of Supply (PIOS) data quality in the Defence ERP system, analysing impacts on policy, processes, and training with the introduction of SAP S4/HANA.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and remediate PIOS data quality
  • Analyse impacts on policy, processes, and training
  • Support implementation of recommended solutions
  • Analysis of PIOS legislation and policy
  • Stakeholder engagement and training needs analysis

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in logistics/supply chain training development or delivery
  • Strong research, task scoping, planning, scheduling, and risk management skills
  • Prior experience using MILIS and SAP beneficial but not necessary
  • Experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives in a Defence context
  • Experience in logistics/supply chain governance, compliance, and assurance
