As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be part of a dynamic team providing comprehensive DBT outpatient programs.
Key Responsibilities- Therapy Delivery: Deliver individual therapy, group skills training, and phone coaching within the standard DBT model.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical teams to support ongoing professional growth and share best practices.
- Program Development: Stay up-to-date with DBT research and training opportunities; monitor program effectiveness using various measures.
- Work-Life Balance: Foster a satisfying work experience with a focus on self-care and sustainable practice.
- Extended Services: Provide clinical services outside normal business hours, including running an evening skills training group.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
- Registered clinical psychologist/psychologist/mental health accredited social worker/occupational therapist is necessary.
- Five years of clinical experience is essential for this role.
- Previous experience with DBT is preferred, although support will be provided through the 16-week online Foundational Training (provided by Behavioral Tech) for those without this background.
- Ability to attend weekly consult team meetings and develop your own private practice at the same premises is a must.
