Pharmacist Grade 1 Position

This is a permanent full-time or part-time position available in our clinical pharmacy team. The role involves providing clinical pharmacy services on a rotational basis, including assessment, intervention, advocacy, and consultation. You will have opportunities to undertake credentialing for advanced scope of practice roles and participate in professional development through regular in-service education and support for seminar/conference attendance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including assessment, intervention, advocacy, and consultation, on a rotational basis.
- Apply effective patient flow principles to ensure efficient and safe care.
- Mentor and clinically supervise pharmacy students, interns, and other staff members.
- Attend and actively contribute to pharmacy services and multidisciplinary team education programs and meetings.
- Hold or be eligible for general registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA.
- Experience in hospital pharmacy services is preferred.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of pharmacotherapy and the ability to apply this knowledge to promote quality use of medicines.
- Show the ability to organize and prioritize your workload in accordance with challenging and dynamic deadlines.
- Utilize a range of computer skills, including iPharmacy and Windows-based applications.
- Identify and participate in quality improvement activities and positively influence change as required.
