Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Urban Resource Coordinator to join our team at Veolia in Banyo 4014.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a critical role as the first point of contact for our waste drivers and operators, assisting with any issues that may arise.

You will assist in scheduling, routing, and generating driver runs while liaising with customers and drivers to provide assistance where required.

The role involves coordinating bin deliveries/collections to maximize run efficiency, communicating accurate and timely information to all stakeholders, and proactively reviewing route performance to identify optimization opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have proven scheduling experience, strong people skills, including excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and a focus on health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating bin deliveries/collections to maximize run efficiency
  • Communicate accurate and timely information to all stakeholders
  • Proactively review route performance to identify route optimization and improvement opportunities
  • Problem solve by responding to customer issues that are of immediate operational concern with a solutions-focused approach
  • Respond to any run confirmation and route checking queries raised by the Customer Services Team/Admin Team and/or customer
