Job Description

Clinical Nurse Consultants lead multidisciplinary teams in providing high-level clinical leadership and expertise in delivering trauma-informed therapy to children and young people experiencing mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex cases through assessment, individual therapies, and program development
  • Provide expert support and consultation to colleagues
  • Collaborate with consultant psychiatrists to design new child and youth mental health services
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in delivering clinical services related to the area of specialization
  • Comprehensive understanding of contemporary approaches to child and youth mental health services
  • Proven experience working in a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care approach

The ideal candidate will possess excellent professional judgment and initiative, as well as the ability to work independently. A current registration as a Registered Nurse and Working with Children Registration are essential.
