Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to provide clinical services with children and young people experiencing mental health concerns who are in out of home care.
The positions available are within our new teams which are currently being developed as initiatives under a reform program for child and youth mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high quality trauma-informed mental health services to children and young people who are in out of home care.
- Undertake complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialized treatment programs.
- Work alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new child and youth mental health services.
- Lead and work with an amazing group of clinicians as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skill, and expertise in providing clinical service delivery related to the program area and ability to provide high-level clinical leadership, exercise professional judgment, and initiative.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant, evidenced-based contemporary approaches to child and youth mental health services together with experience working as a senior health professional in relevant clinical practice settings.
- Demonstrated experience working in a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care approach to children, young people, and their families/significant others to ensure positive outcomes.
