Steel Production Labourer Role Overview

We have a vacancy for a Steel Production Labourer to work in our galvanizing factory. The successful candidate will be involved in the production process, ensuring high-quality steel products are delivered to our customers.

This is a long-term opportunity for the right candidate who can commit to full-time hours and meet our expectations. As part of our team, you will receive comprehensive training and support to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare steel products for galvanizing by wiring them to jigs
  • General factory tasks including manual handling and repetitive movements
  • Dress and fettle galvanized steel using grinders and hand files
  • Strap and pack steel for customer pickup or dispatch

Our ideal candidate will be physically fit with no movement or lifting restrictions, comfortable working with large-scale machinery, and possess good English speaking and comprehension skills. We also require our employees to pass a drug and alcohol test and demonstrate a can-do attitude.
