About Our Client :

Our Client, a leading National supplier of galvanized steel to the construction industry located in Hexham, are seeking hard-working, reliable General Factory Labourers to join the team.

About the Role :

  • Ongoing work – Monday to Friday, with the view to permanency
  • Day and Afternoon Shift available
  • 30-$34 per hour
  • Great working conditions
  • Long-term position for the right candidate

Your duties will include but are not limited to :

Wiring steel products to jig in preparation for galvanisingGeneral factory dutiesDressing / Fettling of galvanised steel using grinders, hand files etcStrapping, packing steel ready for customer pick up / dispatchRepetitive movements and manual handling of steel

To be successful for this role you will need the following :

Be physically fit and have no movement or lifting restrictionsBe comfortableworking withlarge scale machineryBe committed to full-time hoursHave good English speaking and comprehensionBe able to pass a drug and alcohol testBe safety-consciousHave a can-do attitude
