Patient Support Coordinator
As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support within a hospital setting.
This role involves assisting with mobility support, providing meals and making patients feel supported and informed. You will work closely with the clinical team to deliver excellent services and care for patients.
The successful applicant will transport admissions from another hospital, or drive a hospital vehicle to take rehabilitation patients to scans and appointments.
You will report to a Nurse Unit Manager and work as part of a diverse team driven to exceed high standards of care.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Health Service Assistance
- 'C' Class manual motor vehicle licence
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively according to directions
- High level of customer service and excellent time management skills
- Understanding of infection control principles
