Patient Care Coordinator

About the Role:

Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our established Recovery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a busy environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidenced-based nursing care
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensure patient and staff safety
  • Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse within PACU
  • Certified in post-operative nursing or working towards/willing to obtain
  • Current Advance Life Support Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
