Health Information Services Officer

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Health Information Services Officers to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Retrieving medical records in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Providing accurate and confidential health information to internal and external clients.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient information.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Health Information Services department.
  • Participating in performance improvement activities to ensure excellent service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Authority to work in Australia.
  • Proficient use of email, web-based applications, and Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and security of patient information.
