About the Role

This key position requires a solid understanding of project-specific requirements and overall technical needs. Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills are necessary to successfully lead the project team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure full understanding of project-specific requirements and overall technical needs.
  2. Lead and maintain necessary communication with customers, authorities, and sub-vendors on project technical specifications, engineering, and design changes.
  3. Evaluate safe constructability and operation aspects during engineering and detailed design.
  4. Manage interfaces and integration between equipment and systems within project scope.
  5. Drive engineering activities within project schedule and budget constraints.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; double degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in EPC/turnkey Power Plant projects as a project manager or similar role.
  • Certified Project Manager from Australian Institute Project Management or equivalent.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ) or equivalent registration.
  • National Registered Professional Engineer (RPEng) registered at the National Engineering Register in Australia.
  • Proven ability to work on complex technical projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Working rights for Australia or unlimited Permanent Residency, Driving License in Australia.
