Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize specialized equipment, such as hoists, to ensure safe and efficient client transfers.
  • Support clients with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, eating, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist clients with mobility and movement within their homes or other designated settings.
  • Develop and maintain individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on care provided, including any incidents or changes in client condition.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, promoting dignity, respect, and independence.
Requirements
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in disability support or related field.
  • Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualifications in disability support, healthcare, social work, or related fields preferred.
  • Characteristics:
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Certifications:
  • Successful completion of Working with Children and NDIS screening checks.
