Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Disability Care Specialist to join our team. As a Disability Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. You will also perform manual handling tasks, such as lifting, transferring, and repositioning clients safely and in accordance with training and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, transferring, and repositioning clients safely and in accordance with training and guidelines.
  • Support clients in participating in community activities and social engagements.
  • Administer medication and assist with medical appointments as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, particularly with manual handling.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
