Pathology Collector

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of pathology and medical diagnostic services in Victoria. As a Pathology Collector, you will play a crucial role in delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality diagnostic results to doctors, specialists, and hospitals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collection of blood and other samples from patients;
  • Packaging and dispatching of specimens;
  • Stock maintenance;
  • Greeting patients and assisting with appointments and requests;
  • Receiving and receipting of patient account payments;
  • Providing advice on special requirements, preparation, and instructions for tests; and
  • Compliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Workplace Health and Safety Procedures, and Quality Assurance Processes.

  • The ability to cope and thrive in a busy environment;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;
  • A willingness and confidence to work independently in a solo clinic;
  • VPD evidence such as Hepatitis B and Covid-19 are a requirement of this role;
  • A current Australian Open Driver's Licence may be required;
  • And demonstrated experience & knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Cert III in Pathology would be advantageous.
