**Pathology Collector Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to take on this challenging opportunity.

  • Job Summary: Collect samples with care and attention, keep meticulous records for every patient and sample, prepare and package specimens for transport and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting medical samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and sample details.
  • Preparing specimens for transportation to laboratories for analysis.

Requirements:**

  • A combination of skills including empathy, communication, and customer service.
  • Strong time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a solo environment.
  • Vaccine-preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B and COVID-19 is required.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection would be advantageous.

Training Opportunity:

All new Pathology Collector positions will receive comprehensive training upon commencement.
