Job Opportunity

This role is responsible for coordinating and leading Humanities and Social Sciences (HSIE) education in a Secondary School setting. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with a passion for Christian education and a proven track record of leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to provide high-quality, Christ-centred education
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs for Stages 4-6 HSIE subjects
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to improve instructional practice
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to HSIE

Requirements:

  • Valid Working With Children Check clearance
  • Experience teaching Stages 4-6 HSIE subjects
  • Leadership experience within a faculty or department
  • Demonstrated skills in programming, instructional leadership, and coaching

The successful candidate will have a strong faith foundation and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
