Chief Financial Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute finance professional to join our dynamic and growing industrial manufacturing business as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership in financial strategy, with experience in overseeing Finance and Information Technology functions. The role will involve driving strategic growth and operational improvement during a pivotal phase in the company's expansion.

The incoming CFO will be responsible for the management of all finance functions, including financial and management reporting, board reporting, Capex, AP & AR, Treasury, Tax & Compliance, 3-way cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and occasional M&A activities.

The successful individual will have gained the following experiences as part of their professional journey:

  • CA or CPA Qualified.
  • Prior CFO or equivalent senior finance role within a small to medium manufacturing environment with revenues of between $30M and $100M.
  • Industry sector experience in Manufacturing (industrial ideally), Engineering or similar.
  • Proven leadership experience of a finance function.
  • Deep understanding of all financial principles, budgeting, 3-Way forecasting and financial analysis.

Key qualifications include:

  • Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and driving change.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure, software, and cybersecurity is advantageous but not essential.
