Job Description

As a People Advisor, you will provide strategic human resources support and guidance to Projects across the Alliance. This includes assistance with recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, remuneration, and cultural diversity initiatives.

You will collaborate closely with the People Lead and join an experienced People team that prioritizes collaboration and success. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver presentations, facilitate meetings, welcome inductions, and engage with various work groups to achieve desired outcomes.

The role involves implementing HR strategies and projects, partnering with the People Lead to provide operational support and advice, and building positive relationships through influence and negotiation with employees, managers, subcontractors, and external stakeholder groups across the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary school training or TAFE certificate in HR, IR/ER, Education, Psychology, or Business.
  • Degree or higher in Business, Human Resource Management, Legal, Finance, or other associated disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in a HR Advisor role or similar.
  • Knowledge of national and state regulatory frameworks.
  • Contractual and commercial awareness.
  • Employment legislation knowledge, including government policy.
