Job Opportunity: Associate Hydrologist

We are seeking an experienced hydrologist to lead and deliver high-profile water projects.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled professional to shape business growth, mentor junior staff, and drive project success.

  • Lead water resource projects for diverse clients.
  • Conduct hydrologic assessments, modelling, and data analysis.
  • Support flood risk, water quality, and catchment management studies.
  • Provide technical input into environmental approvals and strategy.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals and client engagement.

Required qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree in Hydrology or a related field.
  • At least 9–12 years' experience in hydrology and water resource management.
  • Strong technical skills in hydrologic/hydraulic modelling and GIS tools.
  • Proven project management and client relationship-building skills.
  • Experience preparing high-quality technical reports.
  • A passion for mentoring staff and contributing to team growth.
