Civil Water Engineer

Our team is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Water Engineer to take on key roles in water resources management.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with senior engineers to undertake hydraulic, hydrology, and water balance modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake hydraulic and hydrology modeling with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Support the development of Consequence Category assessments including dam break modeling.
  • Assist in surface water management studies and investigations from concept through to detailed design.
  • Work with the CAD team to develop project documentation.
  • Technical report writing and proposal preparation.
  • Attend national and international conferences to share knowledge and expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field of study.
  • Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software such as TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, RORB, WBNM, and Flow-2D.
  • Competence in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • Familiarity with ARR guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
