">">About the Role- We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team, with expertise in flood risk management, hydrology, hydraulic assessment and modeling.
As a senior member of our Water Resources team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions to complex water resource problems, working closely with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
">">Key Responsibilities- Lead and deliver projects related to flood risk management, flood modeling, and hydrology/hydraulic assessment support;
- Collaborate with multiple professionals across different geographies and build strong relationships with internal and external clients;
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines and budgets, ensuring timely completion and within budget;
- Coach and mentor junior professionals, fostering growth and development within the team.
Our ideal candidate will have:
">">Essential Skills and Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering; RPEQ/CPEng (highly regarded);
- Strong client focus, motivation and dedication, with ability to work well in a team environment and independently;
- Experience or interest in project management;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with various stakeholders;
- Demonstrated experience with water resource modeling and design packages such as TUFLOW, DRAINS, HEC-RAS (1D and 2D), RORB, XPRAFTS, URBS, 12d, MUSIC, GoldSim, IQQM, Source etc.;
- Good working knowledge of ARR 2019, TMR Drainage Manual, and QUDM.
