Job Overview

The role involves operating heavy machinery in an open pit mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of heavy equipment including haul trucks and loaders
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections to ensure all equipment is safe to operate
  • Monitor and control the movement of vehicles and personnel within the mine site
  • Collaborate with other operators and support staff to achieve daily production targets

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered Western Australian Manual Driver's Licence
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn
  • Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts in a physically demanding role
  • Physical fitness and ability to hold a valid manual WA Driver's Licence
  • Reside in the Kalgoorlie region for this residential role
  • National Police Clearance and ability to pass a pre-employment medical
