Business Development Specialist Role Description">Job Overview:The Business Development Associate, Institutional Sales will play a key role in expanding the institutional client base in the Asia Pacific region.This role focuses on originating and setting up meetings with alternative funds, private capital managers, family offices, and institutional investors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, sales, and relationship management.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    • Identify and engage potential institutional clients to expand the sales pipeline.
    • Conduct market research to understand prospective clients' business goals, challenges, and risk management needs.
    • Drive prospects through the early stages of the sales process, from initial outreach and qualification to meeting setup.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM software and provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture relationships with C-suite executives, CFOs, portfolio managers, and key stakeholders within the alternative investment sector.
    • Establish trust and credibility to position as a strategic partner for institutional risk management solutions.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments affecting institutional investments.
    • Provide insights to internal teams to enhance product offerings and strengthen value propositions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate the value of banking solutions.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
