This pivotal role is essential in shaping person-centred care strategies that align to the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards. As a National Person-Centred Care Manager, you will play a key position in influencing decision-making, driving service enhancements, and supporting system-wide improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement person-centred care strategies that integrate consumer perspectives into clinical decision-making, service planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Enhance consumer and clinician engagement to ensure that consumer voices are valued in healthcare delivery.

This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a large team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders.

About You:
  • You hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline and have a minimum of five years' experience in consumer engagement / quality improvement/ health service management or a related field.
  • You have a demonstrated understanding of Australian Health Service Safety and Quality Accreditation (AHSSQA) Scheme and National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards, particularly in relation to the 'Partnering with Consumers' standard.
  • You possess experience with evidence-based practice, research, project management, change management and quality improvement methods to drive innovation and enhance person-centred, safe, and reliable healthcare.
