Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Financial Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all project financial transactions, including job cost transactions, preparation of monthly payment requests, coordination of all subcontract change orders, payments, schedule evaluation, forecasting, and waivers/affidavits.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing owner's contracts to ensure all terms and requirements are being met. They will also organize, enter, and maintain budget information in a project accounting system.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and entering purchase order and subcontract agreements; managing subcontractor payment distributions. Additionally, the candidate will develop and/or track detailed procurement and construction resource loaded schedules in Primavera P6; support management and supervision through preparation, updating, and maintenance of forecasts and identification of schedule and performance variances utilizing earned value methodology.

Other key responsibilities include analyzing job cost and identifying problems; compiling and issuing project performance reports; bringing critical issues to the immediate attention of appropriate management personnel.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in accounting, business administration, or a related field. Three (3) years of related project controls and administration experience is required.

The successful candidate will also be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. They must use the utmost discretion in handling confidential information and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Additional requirements include the ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally; effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information.
