Your Role in Our Gardening Team

As a member of our Gardening and Maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch gardening services tailored to the needs of our clients residing in their homes and within our retirement village environments.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering a variety of gardening services to meet client requirements
  • Providing excellent customer service while working closely with clients
  • Performing all aspects of lawn and garden upkeep, including mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, pest control, and small-scale garden design
  • Ensuring services are personalized, considerate, and compassionate
  • Sharing your expertise to support the learning of others

What We Are Looking For

We seek a committed and meticulous individual who strives for excellence in every task. Ideal candidates will have experience in gardening and maintenance, landscaping, and safe equipment operation. Physical capability to perform the job requirements, including safe lifting and handling, is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in gardening or horticulture, or a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with gardening tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid Australian driver’s license
  • NDIS Worker Screening clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable and insured vehicle
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with email and word processing software
  • Ability to navigate smartphone applications
