Role Summary

As a seasoned Brand Marketing Specialist, you will spearhead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies that drive business growth and sales targets across our pet brands.

We are an e-commerce success story with local teams in Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane. With seven brands under our umbrella spanning Beauty, Consumer Electronics, Pets, and Surveillance verticals, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Head of Brand to formulate and implement brand strategies aligned with business objectives, contributing to long-term growth plans across key markets.
  • Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Trends and Insights: Build understanding of category and consumer trends, translating these into actionable brand strategies.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and manage the annual marketing calendar across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Category Growth: Identify and execute strategies to expand category presence, capture untapped market segments, and drive overall category growth.
  • Market Share Expansion: Develop competitive positioning to increase brand visibility and market dominance within the pet and surveillance technology spaces.
  • Social Media Management and Community Engagement: Manage and grow social media presence across platforms by creating organic, engaging content and spotting trends.
  • Content Creation and Management: Collaborate with the creative team and partner with influencers/brand ambassadors to produce compelling digital content.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor, analyse, and communicate category and brand performance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience
  • A thorough understanding of digital marketing principles and metrics
  • Knowledge of social platforms
  • Ability to take initiative and learn new platforms/tools quickly
  • Attention to detail, effective communication, and strong copywriting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving team and autonomously when needed
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Clear ownership mindset and the ability to simplify complex ideas
  • Passion for the pet industry
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline
  • Experience creating content and comfortable with social media content creation
  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Figma/Canva
  • eCommerce experience
