About the Role
- As Airport Services Duty Supervisor, you will report directly to the Duty Officer and oversee your team to ensure timely delivery of customer service, guaranteeing our customers' satisfaction.
- You will also be required to support the Airport Services Manager when needed and display excellent skills to manage flight delays, disruptions, denied boarding, and other challenges.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Acting as station coordinator in liaison with ground handling agents and QR teams.
- Ensuring on-time flight closure and passenger boarding by supervising the airport team in achieving performance goals.
- Supervising the airport team to guarantee on-time flight closure and contributing to overall performance excellence.
- Planning efficient duty allocations of manpower during duty periods for Customer Service Agents.
- Providing support to the Airport Services Duty Officer in case of flight disruptions, misconnections, and other passenger-related disruptions.
- Performing aircraft turnaround check (ATC) duties as assigned by the Airport Services Manager to ensure safe operation of QR ground ramp product.
- Generating various reports and maintaining a tidy workplace, as well as offering support to the Airport Services Manager.
- Being the primary contact for all agents who may need assistance with questions, problems, or discrepancies.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, security, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across operations to guarantee safety, security, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality service with a responsible attitude.

Requirements
- Relevant College or University qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an airline or reputed Ground Handling Operations at supervisory level.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language.
- Knowledge of Weight and Balance, Ramp handling, and Dangerous Goods Regulations.
- Able to perform duties under pressure while maintaining the highest levels of customer service standards.
- Good understanding of conditions of carriage, International Civil Aviation Safety and Security procedures.
- Experience in areas such as Passenger Services, Baggage Services, Ground Operations, Dangerous Goods Regulations, and ramp handling.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Excellent customer focus and service delivery.
- The right to live and work in Australia is required for this role.
