Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day management of our restaurant operations. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and drive business success.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall restaurant operations, ensuring smooth functioning of facilities and services. Key duties include:

  • Managing venue bookings and event schedules
  • Monitoring financial transactions, preparing budgets, and managing expenses to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness
  • Accountability for achieving all revenue targets and having an agile approach to managing the business to ensure these targets are met
  • Overseeing all operational requirements of the business including marketing, security, maintenance, food and beverage service, sales, and events
  • Leading and supervising venue staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, regulations, and licensing requirements to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the management of the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively manage a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
  • Experience in training teams and ensuring high standards are upheld
  • Strong organisational, time management, and administrative skills
  • Thorough understanding of food safety and liquor licensing regulations
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
