Senior Audit Manager, Institutional Banking and Markets

About the Role
As the Executive Manager, Institutional Banking, Markets and Foreign Branches Audit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of the Group's risk management, controls and governance processes.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) and Foreign Branches Audit, you will lead a team of auditors in assessing and updating audit entities, developing a multi-year Annual Audit plan, and executing audits to provide objective assurance on risk management to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a risk-based approach to audit planning, ensuring that audit scope and scope coverage are aligned with business priorities.
- Lead and supervise end-to-end product, compliance and regulatory audits, including thematic and target reviews, to identify and mitigate key and emerging risks.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) and Foreign Branches on audit findings, recommendations, and remediation initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement audit recommendations, ensuring that they are actionable, measurable, and aligned with business priorities.
- Contribute to the development of the Annual Audit Plan, ensuring that it is aligned with business priorities and risk management objectives.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of financial services industry experience, with a strong background in risk management, audit, and compliance.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Institutional Banking and Markets products, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audit services.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns.
